Until February 27, a block of rooms is reserved at the Galt House Hotel & Suites in Louisville, Kentucky, at the special nightly rate of $113 for single or double occupancy in the RIVUE Tower.  You may upgrade to an executive suite in the SUITE Tower for $143/night.  You may call the reservations department directly at 800-THE-GALT (800-843-4258).  When making reservations, verify the rate and advise the reservation department that you are with the National Institute for Animal Agriculture (NIAA) Annual Meeting.

Airport Transportation

The Galt House Hotel & Suites is located 6.5 miles from the Louisville International Airport with an approximate travel time of 15-20 minutes.

The Galt House has arranged airport transportation with your reservation via Sandollar Limousine. To take advantage of this service you can go directly to their website, www.sandollarlimo.com or www.galthouseshuttle.com to give you flight information and details. The cost for this service is only $15 per person one way or discounted $25 round trip person and can be attached to room billing. Once at the hotel you can arrange your departing trip at the transportation desk directly at 502-561-4011.

Taxicabs are available at the traffic island on the left of the taxi stand. Ask at the taxi stand about Share-a-Ride.  For Yellow Cab please call (502) 636-5511 and for Ready Cab please call (502) 417-4406.  Cab fare will cost approximately $20.00 each way.

If you have reserved a car, rental counters are in the baggage claim area. Vehicles are conveniently parked just outside the west door of the baggage claim area.  All major rental car companies are available at the Louisville International Airport including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty.  The Galt House Hotel & Suites has on-site parking spaces available in its attached, covered parking garage for its guests. The current charge is $12.00 per night. Valet parking is offered for $18 per night.
