Each individual will be responsible for making their own reservations.  A block of rooms are reserved at a special nightly rate of $130 for single and double occupancy until February 26.  Reservations can be made online or by calling 816-474-4400.  When making reservations, verify the rate and advise the reservations agent that you are with the National Institute for Animal Agriculture (NIAA) Annual Meeting.  A limited number of government rate rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis; register online for government rate rooms or by calling 816-474-4400.

Kansas City International Airport (MCI)
The Kansas City International Airport is located 22 miles north of The Westin Crown Center, around 25-30 minutes.  The airport is divided into three terminals with curb-side drop off and pick up outside of gates.

Shuttle Service
Kansas City International Airport Express provides a shuttle service to and from the airport for guests of The Westin Crown Center.  They depart at 25 and 55 minutes past each hour from 5:55 a.m. until 11:55 p.m.  One way tickets are $16.00 and round-trip tickets are $27.00.  These tickets may be purchased at the information booth or on the shuttle.  Airport courtesy phone extension is 5000.  Return shuttles may be picked-up from the hotel's front drive at 5 minutes and 25 minutes past the hour.  A taxi-ride is approximately $40.00.

Driving Directions from the Airport
I-29 South to 169 South.  Follow across the Missouri River to Broadway (turns into Broadway).  Follow Broadway to Pershing Road (equivalent to 24th Street).  Take a left at stop light.  Follow past the stop light on Main.  Take first right into the Westin Crown Center front drive.
